Indigenous Campout with Parrot Creek and Bark

Cultural Ecology, Defending and Restoring Mt. Hood

The Cultural Ecology Program at Parrott Creek is partnering with Bark to host the 2nd annual Indigenous Campout at Timothy Lake on Mt. Hood July 31st - August 2nd! Stay for just a day, one night, or the whole weekend!

We hope to build and strengthen relationships with the mountain and help folks gain camping experience. We will be hosting cultural workshops, harvesting blueberries and huckleberries (depending on abundance and timing of Warm Springs huckleberry feast), and spending time on the land as a community. Open to all ages, no camping experience is necessary, some camping gear and meals will be provided*. This is a drug and alcohol-free event.
