Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council for the monthly event series, Slough Science! This month we will be joined by Anya Moucha from Urban Forestry, and Ryan Gilpin from Nidus Consulting for an evening Slough Science at Level Brewery to discuss the Emerald Ash Borer. This small insect has killed millions of ash trees across the country and was first detected in Forest Grove in 2022 and Portland in 2025. While it hasn’t been detected yet in the Columbia Slough Watershed, it is time to start planning and acting. Ryan and Anya will share the latest information, give you ideas about what you can do to help, and listen to your ideas for navigating this upcoming challenge
