Wetland Tour and Cleanup at Hedges Creek

Join The Wetlands Conservancy and on Friday, August 21st from 9am-11:30am for an exclusive tour of Hedges Creek in Tualatin. We'll bushwhack through the tall vegetation to explore the more hidden sections of our founding urban wetland. Along the way, we’ll stop to analyze footprints, scat, native plants, and birdcalls. Bring a pair of binoculars or a plant ID book if you have one! Participants should prepare for challenging, thorny, allergenic terrain. This event is free and family friendly, but not recommended for kids younger than 8 years old. The weather will be hot. Knee boots required. Trash pickup along the way is optional.
