Tryon Creek

Join this monthly community science monitoring program to observe seasonal changes in key culturally and ecologically important plants. You will learn to identify these plants in all life stages and contribute to critical local data! This surveying follows the same plants year-round to monitor climate change impacts and help inform our restoration efforts—directly contributing to supporting adaptive restoration to keep the forest happy and healthy.
