TWC Amphibian Survey In-Person Training

This in-person training will cover the basics of our local pond-breeding amphibian’s life cycles. Then, we’ll go over protocols for how to identify and log 4 target species of amphibian egg masses throughout Washington County and beyond. Attending the training doesn’t mean you have to sign up for a survey team. Curious folks are welcome to come learn about phibs, even if they don’t choose to go out in the field.

If you do choose to become a community scientist and help out with guided surveys this season, your work will help The Wetlands Conservancy gather data on our local urban amphibian populations! Surveys are also a great way to get more acquainted with the local watershed and general wetland ecology. Please sign up even if you have already attended the training in the past. We need experienced surveyors in the room.
