Science in the Park with JCWC

Johnson Creek Watershed Council

Join TWC Partner, JCWC, for a morning of fun scientific exploration in the park. This year we are learning about what is in the Johnson Creek Watershed! We’ll have interactive stations about salmon, insects and more! This event is great for elementary and pre-k age kids to discover what kinds of things contribute to a healthy watershed.

Participants will learn about First Foods, participate in a salmon lifecycle obstacle course, observe macroinvertebrates, build a pinecone birdfeeder and create colorful craft dragonflies.

We’re also teaming up with SOLVE for a morning clean up from 9am-11am!

RSVP not required, but encouraged. RSVP here!

When: Saturday, September 27th, 10:00am-12:00pm. Arrive early to participate in SOLVE’s clean up from 9-11am!

Where: Mill Park, 6201 SE Overland St, Milwaukie, OR 97222
